My boyfriend is German (speaks fluent German and English) but I felt because of my ethnicity (Asian) he had to suffer for that.. I felt terrible that he was suffering because of me. A lot of places to eat very close to the beach. Food is good and prices are OK. The locals are very friendly and the city feels safe. The trip to the bazaar welches a total loss of time, however the fruit/vegetable market welches really nice.
